Connect at South Lake

There's a place
for you here.

Church is more than a room we gather in on Sunday. It's people learning to follow Jesus, build real relationships, care for one another, and live out their faith together. Wherever you are in life, there's a place to connect, grow, and belong.

Find Your People ↓

One church family. Different seasons of life. Following Jesus together.

Life Together

Church happens
beyond Sunday.

Some of the best parts of church life don't happen during a service. They happen around tables, over coffee, at someone's home, while raising kids, celebrating milestones, carrying burdens, and simply showing up for one another.

At South Lake, we want relationships to grow naturally into a church family that knows one another, encourages one another, and follows Jesus together through everyday life.

Connection isn't another program to attend. It's learning to share life with people who will celebrate with you, pray with you, challenge you, and walk with you.
What life together can look like
+

Sharing Life

Meals, conversations, celebrations, ordinary moments, and friendships that extend beyond a Sunday gathering.

Caring for One Another

Showing up when life gets difficult, praying together, meeting needs, and carrying burdens as a church family.

Growing Together

Encouraging one another toward Jesus through Scripture, honest conversations, example, and genuine friendship.

Making Room

Welcoming new people into our lives instead of allowing church relationships to become closed circles.

As South Lake grows, the ways we organize connection may grow too. The goal will remain the same: real relationships centered on Jesus.

Growing Up at South Lake

Faith for every
season of growing up.

We want the next generation to know Jesus, develop a faith of their own, and grow within families and relationships that point them toward Him.

Children

A foundation of faith.

We want children to experience church as a safe, joyful place where they are known, cared for, and introduced to the story of Jesus in ways they can understand.

Safe • Joyful • Jesus-centered
Teens

A faith that becomes their own.

The teenage years bring real questions, pressure, relationships, decisions, and change. We want teens to have a place to belong while developing genuine convictions and learning what it means to follow Jesus for themselves.

Belonging • Conviction • Discipleship
Families

Following Jesus at home.

Parents and families carry enormous influence in a child's faith. We want to encourage, equip, and walk alongside families as they build Christ-centered relationships and make faith part of everyday life at home.

Encouragement • Partnership • Faith at home
The church and the home are partners, not competitors. We want children and teens surrounded by adults who love Jesus while helping families build faith into everyday life.
Finding Community

Faith for the life
you're living now.

Different seasons bring different questions, opportunities, and pressures. These communities create space to build real friendships and follow Jesus alongside people who understand the season you're in.

Young Adults • Ages 18-26

Faith, purpose, and becoming who God is calling you to be.

College, work, relationships, independence, decisions about the future - your late teens and twenties can change fast. Our Young Adults ministry is a community for ages 18-26, whether you're in school, working, figuring out what's next, or somewhere in between.

We want to create space for friendship, honest conversations, spiritual growth, and a faith in Jesus that carries into every part of adult life.

Community • Purpose • Relationships • Discipleship
Single Adults

Wholehearted faith. Real community. Meaningful life.

Being single isn't a waiting room for the rest of your life. Our Single Adults ministry is about building meaningful friendships, growing spiritually, serving others, and living fully for Jesus in the season you're in.

Whether you've always been single or your story has taken a different path, we want South Lake to be a place where you are known, valued, connected, and able to contribute.

Friendship • Growth • Service • Belonging
Your season of life matters, but it doesn't define your worth or your place in the church. These ministries help build connection while keeping us part of one South Lake family.
Marriage Ministry

Strong marriages
don't happen by accident.

Marriage is one of life's greatest gifts, and one of its greatest opportunities to grow. Every marriage has seasons of joy, pressure, change, conflict, laughter, and learning.

At South Lake, we want couples to keep choosing one another while learning to build marriages shaped by friendship, faithfulness, grace, communication, and a shared commitment to Jesus.

You don't have to wait until your marriage is struggling to invest in it. Healthy marriages need encouragement, friendship, honest conversations, and intentional time together too.
An Expression of Our Marriage Ministry

Beyond the Vows

Saying "I do" begins a marriage. Living those vows through ordinary life is where the real work - and beauty - happens.

Beyond the Vows creates space for couples to reconnect, talk honestly, learn together, laugh together, and strengthen the relationship they're building for the long haul.

Men & Women

Growing stronger.
Walking together.

We all need people who can encourage us, challenge us, pray with us, and remind us who we're becoming in Jesus. Our men's and women's ministries create space for those relationships to grow.

Men's Ministry

Men becoming more like Jesus.

Men carry pressures that are easy to hide - responsibility, work, marriage, fatherhood, temptation, leadership, disappointment, and the expectation to simply keep going.

We want men at South Lake to build real brotherhood, develop spiritual courage, take responsibility for their lives, and become men who love God and love people well.

Brotherhood • Character • Courage • Discipleship
Women's Ministry

Women growing in faith and friendship.

Women need relationships where they can be known, encouraged, strengthened, and challenged through the many seasons and responsibilities life brings.

We want women at South Lake to deepen their relationship with Jesus, build meaningful friendships, use their gifts, care for one another, and become a source of strength and faith in their homes, church, and community.

Faith • Friendship • Encouragement • Purpose
These ministries aren't about separating the church. They're spaces for deeper relationships and encouragement that help men and women contribute more fully to the life of our whole church family.
One Church Family

You don't have to fit
a box to belong.

Ministries can help us find people in a similar season of life, but they aren't meant to divide us. South Lake is one church family - children and grandparents, married and single, young and old - learning from one another and following Jesus together.

Your age, relationship status, or season of life may shape where you connect, but it never determines your value or your place in the body of Christ.

Following Jesus Together
Serve at South Lake

You weren't made
just to attend.

Following Jesus moves us toward people. God has given each of us experiences, abilities, time, and opportunities that can be used to love others and strengthen His church.

Serving isn't about filling an empty slot on a schedule. It's one of the ways we participate in the life and mission of the church while discovering how God can use us.

You don't have to be on a stage to make a difference. Some of the most meaningful ministry happens quietly - welcoming someone, teaching a child, preparing a space, meeting a need, praying, listening, or simply showing up.
There are many ways to make a difference.

Welcome & Hospitality

Helping people feel seen, welcomed, and at home when they gather with us.

Next Generation

Investing in children, teens, and families as the next generation learns to follow Jesus.

Worship & Audio Visual

Using musical, audio, visual, and technical gifts to help our church gather and worship well.

Care & Community

Praying, meeting needs, serving our neighbors, and caring for people in practical ways.

These are examples, not an exhaustive list. We'll help you find a place that fits your gifts, availability, and season of life.

Ready to Connect?

Don't just find a ministry.
Find your people.

Tell us a little about yourself and what you're interested in. You don't have to know exactly where you fit. Someone from South Lake will help you connect with people, ministries, and opportunities that make sense for your season of life.

Not sure where to start? That's completely okay.

Life Is Better Together

There's a place for you
in the life of this church.

You don't have to know everyone to begin belonging. Start with a conversation. Meet some people. Show up. Serve alongside someone. Keep following Jesus. Relationships grow one step at a time.
